“Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”Exodus 14:13-14
Peace and good to all.
If I may share my personal reflection on the above passage from the Book of Exodus.
In our walk through life’s journey, in our walk with God, we still face challenging situations that tend to weaken our faith or slow down our passion for God’s love. That is the work of the enemy. There is an enemy out there, taunting us, targeting us and tempting us to give up our faith in God, whispering the words: “give up”. Don’t. Stay in your walk with God. Resist the enemy and it will flee.
The above passage is a powerful message of hope to keep us standing and to keep us strong: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Have faith and trust in Jesus who saves. Have faith and trust in Him who protects. The Lord is my salvation, He is your salvation too.
When faced with an extra-ordinary difficulties in life right now and you feel like you are in battle you seemed to be not winning, please know that you are not alone, you are not abandoned. Never. You are not fighting your battle alone. Jesus our Lord, is with you, shielding you, protecting you, giving you strength even though you are sometimes unaware of His presence. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit in your heart, it will calm your soul. It will give you peace. Know that there would be people who will come to you for suggestions and some will give ungodly advice, do not heed, rather, remember God’s promise and hold unto it: “Be still, and know that I am God – Psalm 46:10.
God promised that He would take care of His people. That, He would fight their battles for them. Just be still. If you consider yourself one of God’s people, then you just have to be still and remain focus in God, remain focus in His promise that: “The Lord fights for me today”.
Stay in the grace of our Lord, my friends.
